Standards of Practice/Code of Ethics

 All home inspectors should  have some sort of standards of practice, as well as a code of ethics that they follow. These are usually minimum requirements as to how an inspector should conduct himself and his business according to the organizations that set them. I will always strive to meet the highest of standards set forth by the West Virginia Association of Home Inspectors (WVAHI), the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), and the West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office, with, of course, West Virginia Laws taking precedent over all other when they differ. I have provided some links below to some of the standards of practice and code of ethics of some of these organizations.
